T he sixth day of actor Johnny Depp's $50 million defamation trial continued Wednesday with Depp on the stand testifying in detail about some of the abuse and lies he alleged ex-wife and actress Amber Heard perpetrated against him.
When asked what he's lost following Heard's accusations, Depp replied: "nothing less than everything."
"I'll put it to you this way: No matter the outcome of this trial, the second the allegations were made against me, the accusations, the second that more and more of these things metastasized and turned into fodder for the media, once that happened, I lost then," Depp said.

Heard had kicked the door into Depp's head, thrown a water bottle at his face, and thrown a vodka bottle that severed part of his middle finger, according to the actor. The court even heard profanity-laced audio tapes of conversations between the two that confirmed the violence.
"I didn't punch you," Heard says in one recording. "I'm sorry I didn't hit you across the face in a proper slap. I was hitting you — it was not punching you."
The year they were married, Heard also allegedly gifted him a knife with the words "hasta la muerte" or "until death" engraved into it. The knife has since been submitted as evidence.
In one instance, Depp and Heard were in their Los Angeles penthouse suite when Heard came after Depp and, in the actor's words, "clobbered" him. When he tried to restrain her by holding her arms at her side, she continued fighting until she accused him of headbutting her. Once Depp released her, he saw no blood, even though Heard would later allege that her nose was broken as a result. She left the room and returned with a tissue in her nose, showing it to Depp that it was red, and threw the tissue away.
"It was nail polish," Depp said when he examined the tissue closely.
Another time, Depp was away from the penthouse when a woman who worked for him took a disturbing picture of his bed and sent it to him.
"On my side of bed, there was human fecal matter," Depp said. "My initial response to that was — I mean, I laughed. It was so outside — it was so bizarre and so grotesque that I could only laugh."
"She tried to blame it on the dogs," Depp said when he saw Heard next. "They're teacup Yorkies. They're 7 pounds each."
Eventually, Depp's family and colleagues caught on to the toxic nature of their relationship. Depp reported that his own children refused to be around her, and his security guard, who took the stand Tuesday, opted to stand by at the door, ready to barge in when the relationship was particularly sour.
The actor testified that Heard had privately alleged abuse at his hands long before she went public with that information. Once, while in their own apartment with friends present, Heard allegedly shouted, "That's the last time you'll ever hit me," while Depp stood 20 feet away in the kitchen and she sat on the couch.
Meanwhile, Heard's lawyers objected as often as they could find reason to during Depp's testimony. Most often, he was accused of attempting to testify using hearsay evidence.
"I guess that's hearsay," Depp said after being called out on it a handful of times. The court erupted in laughter.

Depp's cross examination began Wednesday and will continue Thursday. Heard's lawyers reminded Depp that he is only suing for defamation from the time Heard published her opinion editorial in the Washington Post, calling herself the "public figure representing domestic abuse." The article has since been flagged by the publication as being over three years old.
